From the Clerk's Office

Cemetery:

NO DOGS ALLOWED IN THE CEMETERY.  THERE HAVE BEEN MANY COMPLAINTS FROM PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY FEEL IT IS VERY DISRESPECTFUL TO THEIR LOVED ONES TO HAVE DOGS DOING THEIR "BUSINESS" ON GRAVE SITES.

An updated cemetery map (listed by owner) is posted on the Pavilion to assist you in locating sites. If you are seeking a particular grave site, please contact the Clerk's office for assistance.

Burial site decorations may be added in the Spring, but they must be removed by the end of September. A notice stating the date for decoration removal is published in the Weekly Wave each Fall.

I am pleased to announce that the Clark Township Board of Trustees has approved a cemetery 209 fund. This means that anyone can donate to this fund, even by way of their will, and these funds can only be used for the cemeteries

Funds in a 200 account can be carried over from year to year, and can be earmarked for specific reasons. These funds are not used for routine maintenance and upkeep, that would still come from the General Fund.

I encourage everyone to spread the word about this and to donate if possible. You could also designate donations to this fund when a loved one passes away. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

No Smoking:

NO SMOKING in all Township Buildings, Recreation Parks and Public Beach.
