The Tax Board of Review meets under the authority, for the purpose of correcting assessment roll figures, such changes as the authority to change the classification, assessed value, or the tentative taxable value of a parcel. The Board can grant or deny a hardship or poverty exemption, and grant exempt status for a non-profit organization, certain religious, or charitable properties. The Tax Board of Review can also correct clerical errors & mutual mistakes on the assessment roll.

The Tax Board of Review meets on the second Monday in March in the Clark Township Hall, where taxpayers may appeal their tax assessment. Meeting minutes are recorded and on file with the Clark Township Clerk.
