Historical Museum

In a log cabin and log addition, you will find displays of artifacts showing the development of the communities of Hessel and Cedarville since 1884. We have Indian crafts & tools from the logging era, as well as photographs & artifacts relating to the frontier life of early settlers, the hotel & tourist periods and the wooden boat era.  FREE ADMISSION TO BOTH MUSEUM'S.


Open Memorial Day Weekend until one week after Labor Day.

Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Sunday 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

In June, we are closed Sundays & Mondays.
